2.5 lbs Chicken Thighs or Chicken Breasts
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Onion Powder
½ tsp Italian Seasoning
½ tsp Paprika
How to make Lemon Pepper Baked Chicken Thighs
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees.
Step 2: Using foil, line a large baking sheet and set it aside.
Step 3: With paper towels, pat the chicken dry and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4: In a small bowl, whisk the olive oil and lemon juice.
Step 5: Over the entire side of the chicken, evenly drizzle the olive oil mixture. Rub to coat chicken well.
Step 6: Place the lemon pepper seasoning, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika in another bowl and stir to combine.
Step 7: Over the chicken, evenly sprinkle the spices.
Step 8: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 35 to 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reads 165 degrees.
Note:
For this recipe, I always use bone-in, skin-on, chicken thighs and get around 6 to 8 pieces depending on the package. And if using chicken breasts, you’ll get around 4 large pieces.
