This is the perfect brownie recipe. My go-to brownies recipe for years that guarantee to deliver the most incredible, chewy, and fudgy brownies! Moist, chocolatey, and insanely delicious! I always make sure to whip up a big batch as this tasty treat goes super fast! These brownies remind me of the ones the lunch ladies served at school for lunch, but a million better! A homemade version that you can easily make using only simple ingredients. These amazing brownies surely kick off the notch!

Ingredients

4 large eggs

1 c. butter, melted

2 c. granulated sugar

2 c. all-purpose flour

4 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder

Chocolate Frosting:

1/4 c. milk I use 2%

1/4 c. butter, softened

3 c. powdered sugar

1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder

How to make Lunch Lady Brownies

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Using foil, line a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and grease with a non-stick spray. Set aside.

Step 2: Add the melted butter and cocoa powder to the bowl of an electric stand mixer. Blend using the paddle attachment until smooth. Then, add the flour and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla. Mix well until just blended and you have a thick batter. Make sure not to overmix the batter.

Step 3: Into the prepared baking dish, pour the batter and evenly spread it out. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the brownie comes out clean. When done, take the baking dish out of the oven and allow the brownie to stand for about 15 minutes. Frost the brownies while still warm.

Step 4: In the meantime, combine the frosting ingredients until smooth. Then, pour this on top of the warm brownies. Allow the brownie to cool fully before cutting it into squares.

Step 5: Serve and enjoy!
