My kids adore these Kentucky Butter Cake Cookies that I always make sure to whip up a big batch of these cookies because these cookies disappear fast! Also, we store some for a quick snack.
To make these delicious cookies, you do not need any fancy ingredients or equipment. These amazing cookies are like bite-sized pieces of butter cake. Yes, one cookie is enough because these cookies are very rich. Also, incredibly good you’ll want more!

1/3 c. butter – melted
1 box of White cake mix
2 egg – whisked
Glaze:
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon water
How to make Kentucky Butter Cake Cookies
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Place the cookie ingredients (butter, eggs, and cake mix) in a large bowl. Mix well until just combined.
Step 3: Using a medium-sized cookie scoop or a heaping tablespoon, scoop the dough and place it on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
Step 4: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 7 to 8 minutes. Remove from the oven when done and allow the cookies to cool for about 4 to 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before moving the cookies to a cooling rack.
Step 5: To make the glaze, place the glaze ingredients in a small saucepan and cook for about 4 minutes over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 6: Over each cookie, spread a tsp of glaze and sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can keep the cookies in an airtight container and store them at room temperature for up to 3 days.
