This is my favourite Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe. I watched my mom made these irresistible cookies countless times when I was a kid. Now that I have a family of my own, I sure make these for my kids, too! They love every bit of these tender and chewy cake-like cookies and the amazing flavour of bananas mixed with chocolate chips. Cookie form of my ever favourite banana chocolate chip oatmeal bread!
No more lonely bananas sitting on the cupboard waiting to rot. If you hate wasting food like most of us do, this easy cookie recipe is a must and a true keeper! I tried using very ripe bananas, freeze them until they are black, and mash them, making it easier to add sweetness to these incredibly tasty cookies! And the oatmeal adds an amazing texture to these cookies.
These soft and chewy cookies are super easy to throw together using only everyday ingredients. Super fun, irresistibly delicious cookies made with fresh bananas! Serve with a nice cup of coffee or juice for an indulgent afternoon snack.
