HOW TO MAKE INSTANT POT HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN

Step 1: In the bottom of the Instant Pot, place the chicken and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Place the honey, soy sauce, onion, ketchup, oil, and garlic in a small bowl. Mix well until combined, then pour this over the chicken. Cover the Instant Pot and seal. Set to Meat setting (or High Pressure for non IP) and cook for 15 minutes. When done, do a Quick Release. Take the chicken from the pot, leaving the sauce in the pot.

Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk 3 tbsp cornstarch with 1/4 cup water until completely dissolved. Pour into the Instant Pot and stir with the sauce until combined. Set the Instant Pot to Saute and cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce turned a little thick.

Step 4: Into bite-size pieces, slice the chicken and place the pieces in the pot. Toss the chicken pieces with the sauce. Serve garnished with some sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy the honey garlic chicken over rice.
