I love this Chinese-style Instant Pot Honey Garlic Chicken. It’s bursting with flavour and incredibly easy to throw together! A wonderful dish with juicy chicken bites smothered in the most luscious sauce perfect for a filling and fast weeknight meal on busy days. You can serve this with rice or alongside your favourite veggies such as broccoli, beans, etc.
The honey garlic sauce is the real winner here. It’s oozing with amazing flavours, and it goes well even on meatballs, shrimp, noodles, or veggies. It’s a delicious sauce that pairs perfectly well with just about anything!

HOW TO MAKE INSTANT POT HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN
Step 1: In the bottom of an Instant Pot, place the chicken and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Place the honey, soy sauce, onion, ketchup, oil, and garlic in a small bowl. Whisk well to combine, then pour it over the chicken in the Instant Pot.
Step 3: Cover the IP and set it to seal. Press on the Meat setting or High pressure if using non IP for 15 minutes. After the cooking time is done, quickly release the pressure. Take the chicken out of the IP, leaving the sauce behind.
Step 4: In a small bowl, dissolve 3 tsp cornstarch with 1/4 cup water. Pour this into the IP and stir to mix with the sauce. Set the IP to Saute for approximately 5 minutes or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
Step 5: To serve: Into bite-size pieces, slice the chicken. Place them in the pot, then toss to coat. Garnish with some sesame seeds and green onions. Serve the honey garlic chicken over rice. Enjoy!
