Whenever someone says salad, the first thing that comes to my mind is this Honey Hot Chicken Salad. This is one of my favourite salads of all time and no doubt one of my top picks. I have been making this salad for years now, and I am still obsessed with it!
I enjoy chicken on my salad. It is like heating two birds in one stone. I love salad and chicken so much that is why this Honey Hot Chicken Salad is perfect for me. Just like my other favourite salads, this takes thirty minutes to make. This salad is practically a big heap of fresh romaine lettuce. I prefer to use ranch dressing, but feel free to use your fave dressing. Toss the fresh romaine lettuce in the dressing and top with fresh chopped veggies and cheese. Now, for the most awaited part, then chicken. Top this salad with bite-sized chicken pieces coated in honey garlic sauce. Ingredients
½ medium Red Onion, diced
2 heads of Romaine Lettuce, chopped and washed
2 Chicken Breasts, cooked and diced
3-6 tbsp Ranch Dressing, or any dressing of choice
¼ c. Honey Garlic Sauce
1 large Red Bell Pepper, diced
Cheese, shredded (optional)
½ Cucumber, diced
¼ c. Hot Sauce
How to make Honey Hot Chicken Salad
Step 1: Place the cooked and diced chicken in a small bowl along with the honey garlic sauce, and hot sauce. Mix well until combined.
Step 2: Toss the chopped romaine with your favourite dressing in another large bowl.
Step 3: Into two large plates or bowls, transfer the salad and top with red onions, bell pepper, cucumber, cheese (optional), and the Honey Hot Chicken.
Step 4: Serve the Honey Hot Chicken Salad right away. Enjoy!
