HONEY GARLIC ROASTED CARROTS

Fork-tender carrots tossed in a sweet honey garlic butter sauce – so deliciously addicting! A fun way to make the kids eat their veggies. So good even your picky eaters will dig this like candies! Carrots will never be boring again with this excellent recipe; easy, quick, and full of a whirlwind of amazing flavours. Roasting intensifies the flavours of carrots and it makes them sweeter. So if you are on a hunt for the perfect treat for your kids involving veggies, this is the way to go.

INGREDIENTS

2 pounds carrots cut into 3-inch pieces

1/2 cup butter

2 tbsp honey

4 garlic cloves minced

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper

Fresh parsley

HOW TO MAKE HONEY GARLIC ROASTED CARROTS

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees.

Step 2: Melt the butter in an oven-safe skillet. Stir in the honey and garlic until combined.

Step 3: Toss in the carrots to coat.

Step 4: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until the carrots are tender when pierce with a fork.

Step 5: To slightly caramelized the carrots, boil for about 3 to 4 minutes (optional).

Step 6: Remove from oven and sprinkle with some chopped parsley.

Step 7: Serve and enjoy!

NOTES:

1. If an oven-safe skillet is not available, you can use a regular skillet to melt the butter and saute the garlic.

2. In a baking dish spread the carrots and drizzle the butter and honey mixture. Toss to coat.

3. Bake as directed above.
