I love this Bread Pudding so much! This is the perfect treat to serve pretty much all the time! I like eating it with vanilla ice cream. By the way, feel free to add more ingredients if you want. I am sure that you can do a lot with this very simple recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Bread Pudding:

2 cups whole milk

1/4 cup butter softened

1/3 cup sugar

3 Eggs

2 teaspoons

cinnamon

1 teaspoon

pure vanilla extract

3 cups bread tore into pieces (any bread, although French bread or raisin bread is great)

1/4 cup raisins

Sauce:

1 cup whole milk

2 tablespoon butter softened

1/3 cup sugar

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 tablespoon flour

dash(es) salt

Directions:

Step 1: Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 2: Add the milk and allow it to become hot.

Step 3: Add the butter right away and stir until completely melted and well blended with the milk. Remove from the heat.

Step 4: In a medium mixing bowl, add the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Whisk until well combined.

Step 5: Gently transfer the milk mixture into the egg mixture. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 6: In a casserole dish, toss in the torn pieces of bread.

Step 7: Slowly pour the batter over the bread and sprinkle the raisins on top as well.

Step 8: Place casserole dish inside the oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 9: Remove the bread from the oven and let it sit for about 5 minutes.

To Make the Sauce:

Step 1: Place a saucepan on the stove and add all the ingredients for the sauce.

Step 2: Turn the heat to medium and allow the sauce to boil. Make sure to stir regularly to prevent the sauce from burning.

Step 3: Remove from the heat and allow it to cool for a few minutes.

Step 4: Pour the sauce over the warm bread.

Step 5: Serve and enjoy!
