PREP TIME: 20 mins | TOTAL TIME: 45 mins | YIELDS: 4
This homemade version of the iconic Philly Cheesesteaks is pure comfort in buns/rolls. I have not tried an authentic Philly Cheesesteak (I feel so sorry for myself just by admitting it) but hey this one is so good those who know the real thing said that they almost cannot tell the difference! Made with simple ingredients, you can prep this in under twenty minutes. Ready in under an hour, this mouthwatering Philly is a whiz!
Here are a couple of tips for the best results. One is you have to choose a type of steak that is thin and well-marbled so it can quickly cook but still be nice and juicy. My first choice is sirloin because of its price and thinness or a ribeye if desired. How about the cheese? I use provolone for this recipe but some say that Cheez Whiz is one great option. Now, are you now ready to make this out of this world, crazy delicious Homemade Philly Cheesesteaks? Enjoy!
