How to make Homemade Meatloaf
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Line a rimmed baking sheet using aluminium foil, then lightly grease with oil. Set aside.
Step 3: Combine the meatloaf ingredients except for the milk, eggs, and cheddar cheese until just mixed. Add the milk followed by the beaten egg and mix well until just combined. Lastly, add the cheddar cheese and mix again. Make sure to not over-beat it.
Step 4: Into a loaf, form the beef mixture, then put it into the prepared baking sheet.
Step 5: In a small bowl, whisk the glaze ingredients until well blended. Brush the meatloaf with about half of the glaze.
Step 6: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the loaf reached 160 degrees F. Remove from the oven and brush again with the rest of the glaze. Return to the oven and continue baking for additional 15 minutes.
Step 7: Allow the meatloaf to cool for about 10 to 15 minutes before carving. Enjoy!
