1 lb ground beef
9 oz. ramen noodles
1 c. bok choy shredded
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion sliced
3 cloves garlic minced
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 large carrot shredded or sliced thin
2 tbsp sesame seeds
3 green onions chopped
HOW TO MAKE HOISIN BEEF NOODLES
Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the ramen noodles until al dente, Drain when done, and set aside.
Step 2: In a large wok or skillet, heat the olive oil on high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the ground beef to the skillet, spreading it out. Allow the meat to cook for about 5 minutes, undisturbed until the juices have evaporated and there is a char on the bottom. Flip the charred beef using a spatula and toss it around.
Step 3: To the wok, add the onion and continue to cook for a minute more. Add the garlic and cook for additional 30 minutes or until fragrant. Now, add the bok choy and carrot and cook further until the carrots have slightly wilted. This takes another minute or so. When done, turn the heat off.
Step 4: Add the noodles followed by the oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, dark soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil to the wok, then toss until well incorporated.
Step 5: Serve the Hoisin Beef Noodles garnished with some green onions, sesame seeds. Enjoy!
NOTES:
