Hawaiian Baked Ham and Swiss Sandwiches

by Rebecca May 30, 2020

Sliders are great, they are easy to make, minis but terrible (good kind of terrible of course). They’re delicious with baked juicy ham, melted cheese, sweet Hawaiian rolls that have been drizzled with a buttery mixture. These are perfect for parties, surely a crowd-pleaser, pretty sure your guests will be asking for more (or for the recipe. LOL). The kids would want to have it for dinner, too.

Ingredients

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

1 tablespoon honey mustard

1 tablespoon minced dried onion

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

15 King’s Hawaiian rolls

1 pound thinly sliced ham

About 10 slices Havarti cheese

How to make Hawaiian Baked Ham and Swiss Sandwiches

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Then, grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with a non-stick spray.

Step 2: Whisk the butter, mustard, onion, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl. Mix until incorporated.

Step 3: Open the King’s Hawaiian rolls package and slice the entire piece of rolls in half. Pull the bottoms apart and place them into the greased dish.

Step 4: Fold the pieces of ham to fit the rolls. Place the folded ham on the bottom half of the roll. Then, layer it with cheese, more ham, and more cheese. And place the tops of the rolls onto the sliders. Drizzle the top of each rolls with a teaspoon of the butter mixture.

Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the sliders are warmed, the cheese melted, and the tops of each rolls are lightly browned. When done, remove from the oven and serve immediately. If you are not baking them yet, just cover the pan with a greased foil sheet and refrigerate. And when ready to bake, remove from the fridge and bake for 20 minutes, covered still with foil. Then, for an additional 10 to 15 minutes without the foil. Serve and enjoy!
