INGREDIENTS
1 (12 ounces bag) wide egg noodles
3 c full cooked diced ham
1 (10 ½ ounces can) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 c sour cream
1 ½ c milk
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp pepper
2 c shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Fresh parsley, optional
HOW TO MAKE HAM AND NOODLE CASSEROLE
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Use nonstick cooking spray to lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Step 3: Cook the noodles in a large saucepan following the package directions until al dente. Once done, drain and return the noodles to the pan.
Step 4: Add the ham, chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, and pepper into the pan and stir well.
Step 5: Place the mixture in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with 2 cups of cheese.
Step 6: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through.
Step 7: If desired, garnish with fresh parsley.
NOTE:
You can use leftover holiday ham for this recipe.
