Prep Time: 30 mins | Cook Time: 45 mins | Serves: 12-15

The perfect dessert to wave goodbye to summer. Experience the taste of summer with the slices of peaches cooked away with butter and spices. And with the crisp topping? It’s gorgeous!

Ingredients

CRUST:

1 cup Bisquick baking mix

1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cup sugar

2/3 cup milk

1/2 stick butter, unsalted

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

GOOEY LAYER:

1 package cream cheese 8 ounces

2 Eggs

3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 stick butter, unsalted melted

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

PEACHES LAYER:

3 cups fresh or frozen peaches

1/2 cup sugar

3 tablespoons flour

1 pinch salt

How to Make Gooey butter peach cobbler

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.

Step 2: In a 9 x 13-inch pan, add half a stick of butter and melt the butter in the oven.

Step 3: Combine the crust ingredients (Bisquick baking mix, brown sugar, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract) except the butter until smooth.

Step 4: In the bottom of the pan, pour half of the mixture with the butter. And do not stir!

Step 5: In a medium saucepan, add the peaches. Mix with flour, sugar, and salt. Heat the mixture until a bit thick, then spoon the peaches on top of the crust.

Step 6: Mix the gooey layer (cream cheese, eggs, powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla extract) until smooth and creamy. Pour this on top of the peaches, ensuring that all the layers are evenly distributed in the pan as you pour them. And DO NOT STIR.

Step 7: On top of the cobbler, drizzle the rest of the crust mix to fully cover the gooey layer.

Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 45 to 50 minutes.

Step 9: When done, allow the cobbler to cool for at least 15 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Enjoy!
