GOOEY BUTTER PEACH COBBLER

Prep Time: 30 mins | Cook Time: 45 mins | Yield: 12-15 servings

With three amazing layers, this cobbler sure to win every heart. Irresistible with superb flavour, and texture that just cracks in your mouth. I am sure that you’ll love this dessert as much as we do.

Ingredients

CRUST:

1 c Bisquick baking mix

1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 c sugar

2/3 c milk

1/2 stick butter, unsalted

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

GOOEY LAYER:

1 pkg (8ounces) cream cheese

2 Eggs

3 1/2 c powdered sugar

1 stick butter, unsalted melted

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

PEACHES LAYER:

3 c fresh or frozen peaches

1/2 c sugar

3 tbsp flour

1 pinch salt

HOW TO MAKE GOOEY BUTTER PEACH COBBLER

Step 1: Ready the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.

Step 2: Into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, add a half stick of butter. Melt it in the oven.

Step 3: For the crust, add the crust ingredients into a medium mixing bowl except for the butter. Mix well until combined.

Step 4: Pour half of the batter on top of the melted butter. DON’T STIR.

Step 5: For the peaches layer, add the peaches, sugar, flour, and salt in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until thick.

Step 6: Pour the peaches mixture over the crust.

Step 7: For the gooey layer, add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla extract in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth.

Step 8: Add this over the peaches. And DON’T MIX.

Step 9: Sprinkle the remaining crust mixture over the cobbler.

Step 10: Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 to 50 minutes.

Step 11: Once done, remove from the oven and let the cobbler cool at room temperature for at least 15 minutes. Serve warm.
