I have never been more impressed in my life. This simple recipe made my day last Friday. I was going through something difficult in my life and my best friend helped me get through it. These cookies enlightened me in some way. It helped me find new reasons to go on and move on. Okay, it may be a little dramatic but in some way, it is true! I know that once you get a bite of these amazing cookies, you would feel the same way. It is so good that I am waiting for it to bake as I am writing this blog. I just can’t get enough of these little treats. A big thanks to my best friend, Anna, for teaching me how to bake these Gooey Butter Cookies! INGREDIENTS
1 box Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix (can substitute yellow or French vanilla)

1 stick butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pkg cream cheese @ room temp (8 oz. pkg)
1 egg
powdered sugar (for rolling dough into)
How to make Gooey Butter Cookies
Step 1:Ready the oven and preheat to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Put the 1 box of Duncan Hines, 1 stick butter, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 pack of cream cheese, 1 egg, and powdered sugar in an electric mixer. Mix until well blended.
Step 3: Place inside the fridge for 2 hours to chill the dough.
Step 4: Roll into balls by rolling the dough forming a walnut size.
Step 5: Roll the balls into the powdered sugar to give it a sweet taste to it.
Step 6: Put the balls into a cookie sheet.
Step 7: Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 350 degrees for 12 to 12 minutes or until cooked through.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack.
Step 9: Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
