Cooked in marinara sauce in the slow cooker for hours to make sure that the flavour of the sauce coats the meatballs. And your house will smell amazing, making you droll like crazy! For an easy and satisfying meal, cook the spaghetti before the meatballs are done and serve with the luxe rich sauce from the slow cooker with a piece of the giant meatball on each plate.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 pound ground beef (85/15)

1/2 pound Italian sausage (mild, sweet, or hot))

1 large Egg, slightly beaten

1/2 c. plain breadcrumbs)

1/4 c. grated Parmesan

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 26-ounces jar marinara sauce

12 ounces Spaghetti

HOW TO MAKE GIANT SLOW COOKER MEATBALLS

Step 1: To a bowl, place the ground beef, Italian sausage, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt. Mix the ingredients using your hands until evenly combined. Then, into four equal parts, divide the mixture and shape it into a ball.

Step 2: In a slow cooker, place the meatballs. On top of the meatballs, pour the marinara, coating the top of the meatballs. Cover the slow cover, set on high, and cook for 3 hours or 6 to 7 hours on low. Once the internal temperature of the meatballs reached at least 160 degrees F they are done.

Step 3: Following the package instructions, cook the spaghetti. Do this once near the end of the meatballs cook time. Drain the spaghetti in a colander when done.

Step 4: Take the meatballs from the slow cookers and transfer them to the cooked and drained spaghetti. Toss to coat then split the sauced spaghetti between four plates with a giant meatball each. Serve and enjoy!
