This classic pie is what everyone is raving about. It is silky, smooth, and heavenly delicious! One bite and you’ll never be able to put your fork down! It is ridiculously addictive and I bet you’ll be fighting for that last bite!

A wonderful and phenomenal dessert that is undeniably easy to make. The ingredients are simple and combine perfectly well together. This pie has everything I can ask for from pecans, coconut, and chocolate chips! A melt-in-your-mouth dessert that is excellent to serve to guests, and is perfectly sweet to bring to potlucks and picnics. With its fudgy, indulgent flourless chocolate filling and coconut-pecan topping this German Chocolate Pie certainly wins the heart of many! Unquestionably, an extraordinary pie for everyone and every occasion!

Ingredients

1 cup light corn syrup

3 large eggs

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups chopped pecans

3/4 cup flaked coconut

3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1 prepared pie crust (9-inch deep-dish)

cool whip, if desired, for topping before serving

How to Make German Chocolate Pie

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.

Step 2: In a bowl, place the corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter, and vanilla. Beat using an electric mixer on medium speed until thoroughly combined and light-colored. Then, stir in the pecans and coconut. Mix using your hands.

Step 3: Scatter the chocolate chips in the bottom of the prepared pie crust before pouring in the corn syrup mixture.

Step 4: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 55 to 60 minutes or until the top is set.

Step 5: Once done, remove the pie from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack. Cooling takes about 2 hours.

Step 6: Once cooled, serve the pie with cool whip or whipped topping if preferred. If you have any leftovers, store them in the fridge. Enjoy!
