2 tbsp olive oil

Mushroom sauce:

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 1/2 c heavy cream

1/2 c (125ml) chicken broth

1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

How TO MAKE GARLIC PORK CHOPS IN CREAMY MUSHROOM SAUCE

Step 1: In a small bowl, place the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Step 2: With a kitchen, paper pat dries the pork chops and season well with the spice mix.

Step 3: In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.

Step 4: Once the butter has melted, add the pork chops to the skillet. Sear for about 3 to 5 minutes until both sides are well browned. Place the seared pork chops to a warm plate and set aside.

Step 5: Place the mushrooms in the same skillet. Stir fry, scraping the bits from the chops until golden brown.

Step 6: Stir in the garlic, parsley, and Italian seasoning and saute for 30 seconds more.

Step 7: Pour in the broth, then the cream. Stir well and simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes until a bit thick. Adjust the seasoning according to taste.

Step 8: Add the pork chops back to the skillet. Simmer with the sauce for another 2 to 3 minutes or until the chops are cooked through.

Step 9: Serve immediately with cauliflower rice, zucchini noodles, or pasta and garnish with parsley.
