HOW TO MAKE GARLIC PORK CHOPS IN CREAMY MUSHROOM SAUCE
Step 1: In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Using kitchen paper, pat the pork chops dry, then generously season with the spice mix.
Step 2: In a skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter has melted.
Step 3: Place the pork chops into the skillet once the butter has melted and sear for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side until both sides are well browned.
Step 4: To a warm plate, transfer the pork chops when done and set aside.
Step 5: Add the mushrooms in the same skillet and stir fry, scraping the leftover bits from the bottom of the skillet until the mushrooms are golden brown.
Step 6: Add the garlic to the skillet along with the parsley and Italian seasoning. Continue to stir fry for additional 30 seconds. Pour in the broth, then add the cream. Stir and simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes or until the mixture has slightly thickened. Adjust the seasoning according to taste.
Step 7: Return the pork chops and the accumulated juices to the sauce. Let it simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes or until the meat is cooked.
Step 8: Serve the garlic pork chops in creamy mushroom sauce garnished with some fresh parsley. Enjoy right away with cauliflower rice, zucchini noodles, or pasta.
