One of my winner weeknight recipe that is super easy to throw together. With a crispy Parmesan crust on the outside, this Garlic Parmesan Pork Chop instantly became my family’s favourite. Using only simple ingredients and five minutes to prep, you’ll have this crazy delicious, tender, and juicy chops in a heartbeat. Pair this with some steamed green beans, broccoli, or scalloped potatoes for a complete meal.
Ingredients
6 boneless pork loin chops, about 1/2-inch thick
salt and pepper
1 c. Italian breadcrumbs
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 large eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt
How to make Garlic Parmesan Pork Chop
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Using salt and pepper, season the pork chops.
Step 3: In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder.
Step 4: In beaten eggs, dip the pork chops, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
Step 5: Melt the butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Sear the pork chops until both sides are golden brown.
Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for about 5 to 10 minutes until the internal temperature of the meat reached 140 degrees F.
Step 7: Before serving, allow the pork chops to rest for at least 5 minutes.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
Note:
If desired, use a thinly sliced chicken breast instead of pork and cook until the internal temperature reads 165 degrees F.
