I am very busy lately. My kids are back to school, I have been recently promoted, and my husband has been travelling for work. I have to do all the heavy lifting at home while he is away. My kids enjoy home-cooked meals, and I do too. Even with my very hectic schedule, I make sure that I have time to prep/cook meals for them. I have a quite long list of my favourites and go-to recipes. I can name a few, but today I want to write about this fantastic garlic butter noodle recipe. I love how I can easily make this using only a few simple ingredients in just fifteen minutes. This is an almost no-brainer recipe, no-fuss, and as you can see there are only two steps. Yes, two steps, and you have this on your dinner table in a snap!
I was hesitant about this recipe at first. I know it will be amazing, but I have the pickiest eaters! When I first made this, I was so nervous that my kids will not like it. To my surprise, they enjoy a full plate of it. They even asked for another! This pasta is packed with garlic, butter, and cheese. A fantastic combination that I believe everyone loves! INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons butter melted
2/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 1/4 cups shell pasta
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
How to make Garlic Butter Noodles
Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the noodles. Drain when done.
Step 2: To the cooked noodles, add the rest of the ingredients and mix well until the cheese has melted.
TIP:
To thin out the sauce, you can add about 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk.
