by Rebecca April 16, 2021

PREP TIME: 5 mins | COOK TIME: 8 mins | SERVINGS: 3 people

Out of this world delicious Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak that takes only eight minutes to make? Well, you are in the right place! Not only that this recipe is pretty easy to make but this guaranteed to give you the most tender and juicy steak with just a few simple ingredients. Enjoy this with some mashed potatoes or side salad for a delightful weeknight meal.

INGREDIENTS

1 pound skirt steak

salt and pepper for taste

6 teaspoons minced garlic Add half if you like a less garlic flavour

¼ c. chopped parsley

5 tablespoons unsalted butter

salt to taste for the butter

How to make Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak

Step 1: Into 3 to 4 pieces, cut the steak. Pat the steaks dry and generously season with salt and pepper on both sides.

Step 2: Heat oil in a heavy-duty skillet large enough for the skirt steak over medium-high heat. Once the oil is very hot, add the steak to the skillet and sear all sides for about 2 to 3 minutes for medium-rare. You can cook the steak a bit longer to your desired doneness. On a plate, transfer the steak and tent with foil.

Step 3: Melt the butter in a skillet over low heat. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic. Using a spatula, stir the butter and garlic around until lightly golden. Make sure not to overcook the butter and garlic o they will burn.

Step 4: Into a bowl, transfer the garlic butter, and season with salt.

Step 5: Against the grain, slice the steak, garnish with parsley, and pour or spoon the garlic butter on top. Enjoy immediately.

Tips:

Into 3 equal parts, cut the steak and cook for about 4 minutes per side. Or 3 minutes if you sliced the steak into 4 equal parts. Make sure to not disturb the steak as it cooks to brown them well.

Feel free to use less or more garlic if desired. For me, I used 6 tsp of finely minced garlic.

To cut the steak, slice it against the grain so it won’t be tough.

For a well-done steak, cook it longer to your desired doneness.
