This is another amazing recipe to prep your pork chops. This has a bold blend of flavours that everyone loves. These juicy and tender pork chops are a sure hit. Serve this with your favourite steamed veggies for a complete meal that is perfect for your entire family!

I am always a fan of pork chops. I have my go-to pork chops recipe, and these garlic brown sugar pork chops are one of my top picks. Make sure to try this very soon.

INGREDIENTS

4 tbsp butter

2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 Bone-in thick pork chops, about 1” thick

3 tbsp garlic minced

3 tbsp brown sugar

fresh parsley chopped

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

salt and pepper

HOW TO MAKE GARLIC BROWN SUGAR PORK CHOPS

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. Sprinkle the pork chops with salt and pepper.

Step 2: In an oven-safe skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for about 3 minutes per side. Set the pork chops aside when done.

Step 3: Adjust the heat to low and add the butter in the same skillet along with the garlic, brown sugar, and red pepper. Stir and simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes. Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon over the sauce.

Step 4: Transfer the skillet into the preheated oven and bake the pork chops for about 8 to 10 minutes. The pork chops are done when their internal temperature reached 145 degrees.

Step 5: When done, take the pork chops out of the oven and allow them to rest for about 5 minutes. Then, serve warm garnished with some fresh chopped parsley.

NOTES:

If not using an oven-safe pan, just transfer everything to a baking dish and bake.

For thinner pork chops, cook a minute or two shy of the cooking time stated in the recipe.
