Garlic-Brown Sugar Chicken Thighs

Once you get a bite of this amazing chicken, you will never settle for a plain chicken ever! This recipe of chicken somehow ruined pretty much all the chicken recipes out there! I kid you not. The only way to know if what I am saying is true is to try it yourself! I hope you all love this incredibly amazing meal. I have listed all the steps and ingredients that you will be needing. Just make sure to follow them and you are good to go. Oh, you are so in for a treat. Enjoy!

Ingredients

eaches bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon honey

½ teaspoon dried oregano

¼ teaspoon dried thyme

¼ teaspoon dried basil

How to make Garlic-Brown Sugar Chicken Thighs

Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.

Step 2: Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3: Place an oven-proof skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Step 4: Add in the butter and allow it to melt.

Step 5: Once the butter is melted, add in the chicken and sear until it turns brown. Sear each side for 2 to 3 minutes. Place the seared chicken on a clean plate.

Step 6: Add the rest of the butter and melt. Add in the garlic and cook for a minute or two until aromatic.

Step 7: Remove the skillet from the heat and add in honey, brown sugar, oregano, basil, and thyme. Stir until well mixed.

Step 8: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until cooked through.

Step 9: Use a thermometer to check the doneness of the chicken. It should reach 74 degrees C.

Step 10: Remove from the oven and let it sit at room temperature for at least 5 minutes.

Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
