Easy Swedish Apple Pie

This is not your ordinary apple pie. Same filling with a cinnamon crust. I am pretty certain one slice would never be enough. Enjoy this cold with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on top.

Apple pie is one of those desserts that I cannot live without. My mom always served this either for breakfast, snacks or as an after-meal dessert. This has been part of our life. My mom already made a few changes with her usual apple pie recipe, hence this Easy Swedish Apple Pie. Made with only seven simple ingredients, this pie you can quickly prep in under twenty minutes. A lot of people say that this is more of a cobbler than a pie. As for me, this is way better than a cobbler! Baked until the crust is golden brown and crispy and the filling is thoroughly cooked. No doubt, this apple pie has been a huge hit every time!

Packed with fresh, tender apples and full of warm cinnamon, this is the best apple pie you’ll ever make and devour! A no-fuss and easy dessert recipe perfect for the beginner baker. Easy to make and a delight to eat.

Ingredients

1 ½ lb Granny Smith apples – peeled, cored, and sliced

1 tbsp sugar

1 c. sugar

1 c. flour

1 tsp cinnamon

¾ c. melted butter

1 Egg

How to make Easy Swedish Apple Pie

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.

Step 2: In a bowl, toss the apples with a tbsp sugar, then pour into a pie plate.

Step 3: Mix well a cup of sugar with flour, cinnamon, butter, and egg. On top of the pie, evenly spread the flour mixture.

Step 4: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 45 minutes until the apples are cooked and the topping is golden brown.
