This casserole brings all the things I love in a single serving! Sloppy Joe and pasta are one of my two favorite combinations. This casserole is very easy to make. You can have it ready on your dinner table in under thirty minutes. It’s an excellent weeknight dinner option perfect for everyone!

This Sloppy Joe Casserole is made with just simple six ingredients. This guarantees to impress everyone. So if you are searching for a nostalgic, delicious, and fun dinner recipe, you have to give this casserole a try. It’s super easy and quick to whip up. For any leftovers, keep them in an airtight container and store them in the fridge for up to 4 to 5 days.

Ingredients

1 small onion, diced

1 pound of ground beef

1 green pepper, diced

2 c. cheddar cheese divided

1 16-ounces pkg Rotini cooked

2 15-ounces cans of sloppy Joe sauce

How to make Sloppy Joe Casserole

Step 1: Place the ground beef, onion, and green pepper in a large pan. Cook for a few minutes or until the ground beef is browned and the veggies are tender. If needed, drain the excess fat.

Step 2: To the pan, add the sloppy Joes and stir well. Heat for a couple of minutes until it simmers.

Step 3: Then, add the cooked pasta and toss to coat. Next, sprinkle in 1 1 1/2 cups cheese. Stir well until the melted.

Step 4: On top, sprinkle the rest of the cheese and continue to cook on low until the cheese has melted.

Step 5: If desired, garnish with parsley. Enjoy!

Notes:

To make this into a real casserole, simply throw everything in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

For this recipe, you can use any variety of pasta.

You can also use any of your preferred cheese. I like cheddar, but the Colby Jack blend is also a great option.
