EASY PEACH COBBLER

PREP TIME: 10 MINS | COOK TIME: 40 MINS | TOTAL TIME: 50 MINS | YIELD: 6 SERVINGS

Nothing can beat the ever famous Peach Cobbler. It tastes superb and is so easy to make using just pantry essentials. It is the perfect dessert with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

This easy peach cobbler is an all-year dessert. To make this, you can either use fresh or frozen peaches. Either way, this treat promises the best results! Do not forget to serve this with a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream for the best dessert that everyone will love!

INGREDIENTS

1 Egg

1/4 c. butter

2 c. peeled peaches (if frozen, thaw and drain juice)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 c. flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 c. sugar (divided)

1/3 c. milk

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 c. brown sugar

ice cream for serving (optional)

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

HOW TO MAKE EASY PEACH COBBLER

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.

Step 2: In a 9-inch glass dish, add the butter. Place it in the oven until melted.

Step 3: In a large bowl, add the flour, 2/3 cup of sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well until combined, then add the milk and egg. Stir well until incorporated. Over the melted butter, pour the batter. DO NOT STIR.

Step 4: In a bowl, place the peaches along with 1/3 cup sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well, then gently spoon the peaches over the batter. Again, DO NOT STIR.

Step 5: Over the peaches and batter, sprinkle the brown sugar.

Step 6: Place the cobbler in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until the batter is golden brown. Broil for a couple of minutes for that slightly extra crispness on top.

Step 7: Remove from the oven when done and serve the cobbler warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

NOTES:

Feel free to double the recipe and make this in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
