HOW TO MAKE EASY OVEN BAKED CHICKEN BREASTS OR THIGHS
Step 1: Combine all the ingredients except for the chicken. In a bowl or large Ziploc bag, place the chicken, then add the marinade. Toss to completely coat the chicken. Cover the bowl or seal the bag, if using a Ziploc bag. Keep the chicken in the fridge for about an hour to marinate.
Step 2: Ready the oven when ready to cook. Preheat it to 375 degrees F.
Step 3: On a baking pan, lay the chicken breast, bone-side-down. Over each chicken piece, spoon a little more marinade, then toss the rest. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on top.
Step 4: Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake the chicken for about 45 to 55 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear. The chicken is done when the internal temperature of the thickest part of the breast reached 165 degrees F.
Step 5: Remove the chicken from the oven when done and loosely tent with foil. Let the chicken breast rest for at least 5 minutes before serving to make sure the chicken stays extra juicy. Enjoy!
