Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 15 mins | Servings: 4

This recipe is very easy and quick to make, straightforward, and guarantees a filling meal perfect on busy weeknights. This easy One-Pan Honey Garlic Shrimp is made with everyday ingredients and ready in twenty minutes or less, making this in all probability my favourite go-to for when I am short in time. Enjoy an Asian-inspired meal and served this delicious dish over rice along with your favourite steamed veggies garnished with some toasted sesame seeds.

I have been making this incredibly easy and yummy shrimp dish for a long time for a super quick meal, especially on the busiest days. It’s crazy delicious and way better than take-out! The perfect healthy low-fat meal that I am pretty sure your entire family will ask for again and again!

Ingredients

1/2 c. honey

3 cloves garlic, pressed or finely minced

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp water

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp olive oil

3 – 3 1/2 c. fresh or frozen shrimp, completely thawed and rinsed (you can use shrimp with shells and tails on, or shrimp with the shells and tails removed)

toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

How to make Easy One Pan Honey Garlic Shrimp

Step 1: Combine the honey, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, water, and cornstarch in a small bowl and set aside.

Step 2: Add the olive oil to a hot large skillet. Add the shrimp, toss them in the olive oil, and cook over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes per side until pink. Note that shrimp without tails and shells cooks faster than shrimp with tails and shells.

Step 3: To the skillet, pour in the honey garlic sauce mixture and toss to coat the shrimp. Continue to cook until the sauce has thickened and is sticky.

Step 4: Remove from the heat when done and serve the shrimp over rice with steamed veggies on the side. If desired, garnish with toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
