Easy Homemade Glazed Apple Fritters

These delicious Apple Fritters are the best! Serve these heavenly treats with hot coffee or iced tea and you have yourself a snack to remember! Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! Feel free to tweak the recipe a little if you want. Have a wonderful day, friends. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 c granulated sugar

3/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/3 c milk (used low-fat)

1 large Egg

1 c apple, chopped (used 2 small apples, peeled)

Oil (for frying, we used vegetable oil)

FOR THE GLAZE

2 c powdered sugar

1 1/2 Tbsp milk

Directions:

Step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, add baking powder, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until well combined.

Step 2: Add in the egg and milk. Stir until well mixed.

Step 3: Add in the chopped apple and stir until well mixed.

Step 4: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 5: Add in oil 1 1/2 cups of oil and allow it to become hot to about 350 degrees F.

Step 6: Spoon the mixture into the hot oil and cook for about 2 minutes or until brown, then flip to cook the other side for another 2 minutes.

Step 7: Place the Fritters on a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

To Make the Glaze:

Step 1: In a small mixing bowl. add the powdered sugar and milk. Stir until well mixed.

Step 2: Drizzle the glaze over the cooled apple fritters.

Step 3: Let the fritters rest for about 3 minutes or until the glaze is set.

Step 4: Serve and enjoy!
