Easy Chicken Kebabs

These are such an easy kebabs recipe perfect not only for summer but all year round! My favourite and go-to kebabs recipe. So simple, yet the chicken is super tender and flavorful!

Even if grilling season is over, we cannot still get over these chicken kebabs. Made with only seven readily available ingredients. The chicken pieces and bell peppers are marinated in garlic cloves, soy sauce, dried oregano, and juiced lemon for at least 2 hours preferably overnight for maximum flavour. The marinade also guarantees very tender chicken which is incredibly awesome! Also, the bell peppers not only add colours to the skewers but they pair so well with the succulent chicken.

For this kebab recipe, my favourite to use is chicken thighs, as they make soft and juicy kebabs. Some of my friends used chicken breast as it is a healthier option, and they said it’s equally amazing. The secret of using chicken breast is to marinate it for at least 4 hours preferably more for superb results.

INGREDIENTS

⅛ c. olive oil

2 pounds boneless chicken thighs, cut into medium pieces

3 garlic cloves (minced)

⅛ c. soy sauce

3 multicoloured bell peppers, cut into medium pieces

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Skewers

½ lemon, juiced

How to make Easy Chicken Kebabs

Step 1: In a large bowl, add the pieces of chicken, garlic cloves, soy sauce, bell peppers, dried oregano, and juiced lemon. Mix well and cover. Keep in the fridge for at least 2 hours up to 24 hours.

Step 2: When ready to grill, prepare the grill and preheat to medium-high heat.

Step 3: Onto the skewers, arrange the chicken and peppers.

Step 4: Grease the grilling grate. Lay the skewers on the hot grill and cook the kebabs for approximately 7 minutes per side or until the chicken is well done.
