I made this again last night and as always it was amazing! Made with only basic ingredients and super easy to throw together, these easy Beef Bowls will surely make it to your top favourite. An Asian-inspired dish with rice and savoury beef. For this recipe, you can leave the sriracha sauce out or add more than a teaspoon if desired. Also, the garnishes are optional but are highly recommend. And makes sure not to skip the hoisin sauce because it gives the beef depth of flavour which you cannot achieve when using just brown sugar and soy sauce.

Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the rice.

Step 3: Remove the pan from the heat before stirring in the sugar, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, ginger, and garlic.
Step 4: Adjust the heat to medium, then place the pan back to the heat. Add in the red pepper flakes and resume cooking for a couple of minutes more until the peppers are tender-crisp. Make sure to stir every often.

NOTES:
Freeze the whole piece of fresh ginger. This will help to easily grate the ginger.
Feel free to leave the sriracha sauce out or add more than a tsp if desired.
