This simple and incredibly delicious Angel Hair Pasta made with cherry tomatoes, garlic, and olive oil is so easy to throw together. Always a huge hit at home, and pretty sure your family’s next favourite!

INGREDIENTS
12 ounces uncooked angel hair pasta
1 pound cherry or grape tomatoes
⅓ c. extra virgin olive oil
3 garlic cloves minced
¼ c. chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil optional
1 teaspoon salt plus extra for boiling pasta
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes or to taste
How to make Easy Angel Hair Pasta
Step 1: Bring to a boil a large pot of salted water.
Step 2: Add the oil and tomatoes in a hot large skillet over medium heat and cook for approximately 10 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and begin to fall apart.
Step 3: To the boiling water, add the pasta and cook for about 3 minutes following the package directions until al dente.
Step 4: To the tomato sauce, add the garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well and cook while breaking the tomatoes as it cooks. This takes another 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 5: Drain the pasta when done cooking, then add it to the tomato sauce along with the chopped herbs. Stir well and continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes more.
