Crustless Custard Pie

I have been reading about this crustless pie for a while now. It’s one of the most pinned posts on Pinterest. The word “crustless” is very intriguing, so I immediately tried it, and wow! This crustless custard pie has a distinct flavour and unique texture. This is for sure not like your ordinary pies! It’s a magic pie, a sure winner, and a must-try. Do not forget to serve this with a big dollop of whipped cream or a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for that over-the-top experience!

To make this pie, all you need are six main ingredients minus the salt. Whip them up, pour the batter into a pie dish, and throw it in the oven. After under an hour, your pie is ready! Easy peasy!

Ingredients

½ c. Butter (melted)

2 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste (or vanilla extract)

4 Eggs

½ c. all-purpose Flour

1 c. Sugar

2 c. Milk (warm)

Pinch of Salt

How to make Crustless Custard Pie

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. Ready a 9-inch pie dish, grease, and set aside.

Step 2: To a large mixing bowl, add the cracked eggs, then the sugar and vanilla. Beat using an electric mixer until the mixture is creamy, puffy, and light in colour.

Step 3: Now, add the butter to the mixing bowl with the egg mixture followed by the flour and salt. Stir well until combined.

Step 4: Whisk the lukewarm milk into the remaining ingredients until well mixed.

Step 5: Allow the pie batter to rest for at least 5 minutes before pouring it into the prepared pie dish.

Step 6: Place the pie dish into the preheated oven and bake for the pie batter for about 45 minutes. When done, remove from the oven and serve the custard pie warm or cooled. Enjoy!
