This is an amazingly easy crockpot recipe. Pork loin flavoured with a garlic herb rub and slowly cooked until falls apart tender. Perfect on hamburger buns with your favourite side.

Why do I love crockpot pulled pork? Well because of so many reasons! This recipe is a dump-and-go recipe. You simply have to leave everything to cook in your trusty slow cooker. No babysitting is required. When the time is up, the meat shreds easily making it one heck of a melt-in-your-mouth tender. And the meat is flavoured with a simple garlic herb rub for an incredible taste using only simple ingredients.

Crockpot Pulled Pork is a great summer barbecue plus this recipe makes a ton so you can easily include this on your weekend meal prep and simply store it in the freezer.

Ingredients

4 pounds boneless pork loin trimmed if desired

1 c. apple juice (or soda)

1 tbsp seasoning salt

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp dried mustard

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 c. barbecue sauce as desired

How to make Crock Pot Pulled Pork

Step 1: In a 4 to 6-quart crockpot, place the pork loin. On top, pour the apple juice.

Step 2: In a small bowl, add the seasoning salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, mustard, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well, then sprinkle half of it over the pork loin. Flip the meat and sprinkle the rest on the other side.

Step 3: Cover the pot, set it on low, and cook the pork loin for 8 to 10 hours until fall-apart tender.

Step 4: When done, shred the pork using two forks and discard the excess fat. Toss the shredded pork in the remaining juices and as desired, coat with the barbecue sauce.

Step 5: Enjoy the pulled pork on hamburger buns.
