1 tbsp ginger minced

1/2 lemon juiced
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp cornstarch
Garnish:
green onions
sesame seeds

How to make Crispy Honey Lemon Chicken
Step 1: Place the chicken thighs and cornstarch in a large bowl or ziplock bag. Toss until the pieces of chicken are evenly coated in cornstarch. Set aside.
Step 2: In a bowl, add the sauce ingredients (soy sauce, honey, zest of lemon, lemon juice, water, and cornstarch). Whisk well to combine and set aside.
Step 3: To a large pan, add the vegetable oil and heat over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the chicken thighs until crispy and golden.
Step 4: Take the chicken out of the pan and discard the oil, saving only a tbsp.
Step 5: In the same pan, saute the garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes for about 30 seconds over low heat until the garlic is aromatic.
Step 6: Put the chicken back to the pan and toss to coat.
Step 7: Stir the sauce again in the bowl before adding it to the pan.
Step 8: Coat the chicken with the sauce and continue to cook for another 30 seconds to a minute until the sauce is thick.
Step 9: Before serving, garnish with some chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh lemon zest. Enjoy immediately with rice.
