Ingredients
1 ½ pounds Shrimp peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter or Ghee
4 Garlic Cloves pressed
1 c Heavy Cream
1 teaspoon Gluten-free Flour
½ tablespoon Lemon Zest
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning Mix
1 teaspoon Chili Flakes or to taste
1 teaspoon Cayenne Powder
¼ c Sun-dried Tomatoes Chopped
A handful of freshly chopped basil leaves picked and chopped
Sea salt and pepper, to taste
How to make Creamy Garlic Tuscan Shrimp
Step 1: In a large skillet or nonstick pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Step 2: Saute the garlic for about 30 seconds or until aromatic.
Step 3: In the meantime, whisk the flour and heavy cream in a bowl until well mixed. Transfer this to the pan.
Step 4: Add in the lemon zest, Italian seasoning, chilli flakes, cayenne powder, and sun-dried tomatoes. Stir well.
Step 5: Adjust the heat to low and continue to simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes or until the sauce begins to thicken.
Step 6: Add the shrimp to the sauce and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until the shrimps become pink and curly.
Step 7: Once done, remove from the heat and stir in the basil. If needed, season with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
