Ingredients
1-pound Italian Sausage
½ small onion diced
3 ounces frozen spinach
28 ounces canned diced tomatoes with juice
8 ounces cream cheese cubed
1 tsp Italian seasoning
16 ounces frozen tortellini
3 c chicken broth
¼ c tomato paste
¼ c parmesan cheese optional
How to make Creamy Crockpot Tortellini
Step 1: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Step 2: Add the sausage and onion. Cook until crumbly, brown, and translucent.
Step 3: Discard any excess grease.
Step 4: Transfer the cooked sausage into a 6-quart slow cooker together with the rest of the ingredients.
Step 5: Cover the slow cooker and cook for 3 hours on a low setting.
Step 6: Stir until well mixed.
Step 7: Add Parmesan cheese on top.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
