PREP TIME: 25 MINS | TOTAL TIME: 25 MINS | YIELDS: 4

This is my partner’s favourite! Crab Alfredo is the best. It’s also one of the easiest and quickest meals you can make. It’s date night worthy and super good even with canned crab! Try adding some shrimp and substitute parsley with green onions. I promise it’s amazing!

When I first read this recipe, I never had any second thoughts! I know my family will love it and I am right! This has become our favourite and one f my go-to for date nights. This recipe is super easy and surely will not break the bank!

INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons butter

12 ounces fettuccine or linguine

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Old Bay, plus more for sprinkling

1 pound lump crab meat

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Freshly ground black pepper

kosher salt

1 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish

2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley, plus more for garnish

How to make Crab Alfredo

Step 1: Following the package directions, cook the linguine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. When done, drain and return the linguine to the pot.

Step 2: Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic to the skillet and cook for about a minute until aromatic. Stir in the flour until golden. Add the heavy cream followed by the chicken broth and simmer for about 3 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Now, add the Parmesan and allow it to melt for about 2 minutes.

Step 3: Sprinkle with Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Add the parsley and crab meat. Stir until coated. Then, add the linguine and toss to coat.

Step 4: Serve the Crab Alfredo garnished with Old Bay, parsley, and Parm and squeeze with lemon. Enjoy!
