Nothing can beat a great-tasting meal for dinner! This Country Hamburger Skillet has all the things you would wish for in a dish! It has meat, potatoes, cheese, and seasonings! You will not be disappointed with this recipe at all! It is something you need to try! Ready in less than an hour, dinner with your loved ones is going to be amazing. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Garnish with fresh chopped chives

Garlic Salt

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 1/2 c grated mixed cheddar and Monterey jack cheese

1/2 a large onion, sliced thinly

1 lb. ground beef

Coarse Ground Black Pepper

6-8 medium Yukon Gold Potatoes, sliced thinly

Directions:

Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-low. Add the ground beef, then cook for a few minutes until crumbly and brown.

Add the minced garlic, then sauté for about a minute or just until aromatic.

Add the onions and potatoes, then cook for a few minutes as well until soft. Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper on top to season. Stir to combine.

Cover the skillet with the lid, then simmer everything for about 15 minutes. Remove the cover and stir again.

Remove the skillet from the stove and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.

Cover the skillet again and allow the cheese to completely melt.

Sprinkle freshly chopped chives on top to garnish.

Serve and enjoy!

Notes:

Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then put them in the fridge. Reheat for a few minutes before serving again.

My only advice to you is to be very generous with the amount of cheese that you are going to add. Just do it and thank me later!
