My family is obsessed with this corn on the cob! It’s so simple yet super addicting. It’s our fave to make during a barbecue, picnics, and family outing. If desired, you can make your compound butter. I suggest trying different flavour combination that suits your taste. Keep in mind though to use unsalted butter.

INGREDIENTS
1 stick (8 tbsp ) unsalted butter, room temperature
8 ears corn, cleaned
fresh ground black pepper, to taste
kosher salt, to taste
How to make Corn on the Cob in the Oven
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F. Using aluminium foil, line a baking sheet.
Step 2: On the prepared baking sheet, place the corn. Set aside about half of the butter and spread the rest on each corn. Then, generously sprinkle with salt and pepper. For each corn, I use around a tsp of salt and pepper.
Step 3: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the corn for about 30 to 45 minutes or until beginning to brown.
Step 4: While baking, turn the corn often.
Step 5: When done, take the corn out of the oven, then spread the reserved butter on the top of each corn. As desired, sprinkle with extra pepper. Enjoy!
NOTES:
You can also add a dash of cayenne pepper if desired. To do this, add 4 tbsp butter to a small dish, then add your preferred amount of cayenne pepper. Stir well until combined, then smear this on each corn and proceed with the recipe.
