This is a winner recipe, no questions asked! Not your usual cinnamon roll but with the same goodness, if not better. I could not agree more with the comments I’ve been reading that this is “the bomb” because it is! I’ll be making this again pretty soon, and I’m excited to try this with a cream cheese glaze. 3 cups flour

1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cup milk
2 Eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 tablespoons butter, melted
2 stick (1 c.) butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2/3 cup nuts (optional), I used finely chopped pecans
2 cups powdered sugar
5 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
How to make Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake
Step 1: Combine 3 cups of flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla using an electric mixer or stand-up mixer. Once well mixed, gradually stir in 4 tablespoons of melted butter until incorporated. Then, into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, pour the batter.
Step 2: Place 2 sticks of softened butter, brown sugar, 2 tbsp flour, cinnamon, and nuts in a large bowl. Mix well until combined. Then, over the cake batter, evenly drop this by tablespoon. Marble or swirl through the cake using a knife.
Step 3: Place in 350 degrees preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.
Step 4: Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Step 5: Over the warm cake, drizzle the glaze. Slice and serve the cake warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
