This is a stunning five ingredients pastry tree that you can whip up in under forty minutes! An impressive, super fun, and the best churro-tasting tree you can whip up this Holiday! The best part is you can easily make this without so much effort!

I want something new to serve on the table, and I know everyone loves churro. Not only that this is the best dessert, but this is the prettiest centrepiece! Try this soon, and I’m sure you’ll think the same!

INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

2 tbsp 50grams Nutella

2 sheets puff pastry, semi-frozen

1 tbsp cinnamon sugar (or 1 tbsp sugar mixed with 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon)

1 Egg yolk

HOW TO MAKE CHURRO NUTELLA CHRISTMAS TREE (PASTRY TREE)

Step 1: Using parchment paper or a Silpat mat, line a baking sheet.

Step 2: In a Christmas tree shape, cut out both puff pastry sheets. On one pastry sheet, evenly spread the Nutella and top with the other cut-out sheet of puff pastry.

Step 3: To a baking sheet, transfer the puff pastry sheets with Nutella. On both sides, cut about 1-inch apart or 2 cm slits, leaving the middle intact.

Step 4: Then, twist the strips of pastry twice. Press the ends into the baking sheet, then cut out two-star shapes using the leftover pastry, spreading one sheet with Nutella. On top place the other pastry. On top of the tree, place the star.

Step 5: With the egg yolk mixed with a bit of water, brush the pastry. Place in the oven and bake at 400 degrees F or 200 degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.

Step 6: Remove from the oven when done and let the pastry tree cool for about 5 minutes before lightly brushing with the melted butter. Lastly, sprinkle the tree with cinnamon sugar. Enjoy!
