INGREDIENTS
1/2 c. sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 8-ounces packages of cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 (8 ounces) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
HOW TO MAKE CHURRO CHEESECAKE BARS
Step 1: In a small bowl, place a half cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. Mix well until combined and set aside.
Step 2: Until smooth, beat the cream cheese. Add the sugar along with the egg and vanilla. Continue to beat until smooth and creamy, then set aside.
Step 3: Using a nonstick spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. In the bottom of the greased pan, evenly sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Step 4: On a lightly floured piece of waxed paper, unroll the dough, pressing the seams together. Over the cinnamon sugar, carefully place the dough, then press to the edges of the pan.
Step 5: On top of the dough, evenly spread the cream cheese mixture. Place another unrolled dough on top of the filling and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon sugar. Place in 350 degrees preheated oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes until light brown.
