This chocolate cobbler reminds me of chocolate pudding and lava cake. It’s a mashed-up of my two favorite desserts that’s why I am obsessed! Just the look of it makes my mouth water. 6 tablespoons butter, unsalted
1 cup self-rising flour
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup boiling water
How to Make Chocolate Cobbler
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Meanwhile, in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish, melt the butter.
Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of cocoa. Mix well.
Step 4: Then, stir in the milk and vanilla until smooth.
Step 5: Gradually, transfer the mixture into the melted butter.
Step 6: In a separate bowl, mix the rest of the sugar and 1/4 cup of cocoa powder.
Step 7: Sprinkle the remaining mixture over the batter.
Step 8: Carefully and slowly pour the boiling water over the mixture.
Step 9: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes.
