Thus, this amazing Chicken Thigh Marinade. Made with a combination of pantry ingredients, make sure to marinate the chicken for at least an hour, preferably overnight, so the marinade will sip into the chicken.
This simple marinade is a savoury blend of fresh herbs, garlic, olive oil, lemon, and seasonings. Perfect to use for grilled, boiled, or baked chicken thighs that guarantee the best result always! Chicken thighs are one of my fave cuts because they are inexpensive and are more tender and juicy compared to chicken breasts. Use this simple but flavorful marinade to dress up your chicken thighs, and easily and inexpensively put together a meal for your family!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 c. olive oil
2 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp fresh parsley leaves chopped, plus more for garnish
1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp minced garlic
How to make Chicken Thigh Marinade
Step 1: In a large bowl, place all the ingredients (olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon zest, chopped parsley leaves, fresh thyme, salt, pepper, and minced garlic). Mix until well combined.
Step 2: To the bowl with the marinade, add 2 lbs of chicken thighs. On top of the chicken, spoon the marinade. Cover the bowl and place in the fridge to marinate the chicken for at least an hour up to 24 hours.
Step 3: When ready, take the chicken out of the fridge and remove it from the marinade. Cook the chicken, then serve.
