A scrumptious meal with chicken, cheese, milk, chicken soup, and crescent rolls. You can even freeze or store this in the fridge for a quick meal.
I grew up to this amazing dish and this has been one of my mom’s pride. It’s so darn good, I could eat this myself! A pretty easy recipe to pull together with just five ingredients. I have been making this since I can remember. It’s a treasure from my mom’s cookbook. And my kids love this too. I am looking forward to making this again and again!
Ingredients
6 ounces cooked chopped chicken breast (approximately 1 to 1-1/2 c.)
1 (8 ounces) can refrigerated crescent rolls
1 (10.75 ounces) can cream of chicken soup
½ c. milk
½ c. shredded cheddar cheese
HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN ROLL-UPS
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. And using cooking spray, lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Step 2: In a bowl, place the milk, soup, and cheese. Mix well and set aside.
Step 3: Into 8 triangles, separate the crescent rolls. With the chopped chicken, top the large portion of the crescent triangle and on top of each roll, place a tsp of the soup mixture, then roll the crescent rolls up.
Step 4: In the bottom of the prepared dish, spread about 1/3 cup of the soup mixture, then add the crescent rolls and pour on top the rest of the soup mixture.
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes until bubbly.
Note:
For a quick meal, you can freeze the leftovers and reheat them when ready to serve.
