Cooking spray
6 slices bacon
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups whole milk
3 cups shredded cheddar
2 large heads of broccoli, cut into small florets
3 cups shredded chicken
1 (16.3-ounces) can refrigerated biscuits
2 teaspoons ranch seasoning mix
How to make Chicken Bacon Ranch Bubble-Up Bake
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees. Using cooking spray, grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Cook the bacon in a large skillet for about 8 minutes until crispy. On a paper towel-lined plate, drain the bacon, then wipe the skillet clean.
Step 3: Melt the butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about a minute until bubbly. Slowly whisk in the milk, bring to a simmer, and continue to cook for another 2 minutes until thickened. Now, stir in the cheese and cook for a minute more until melted. To taste, season with salt and pepper, then stir in the broccoli. Take away from the heat once done.
Step 4: Into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, spread the broccoli mixture, and top with the chicken. Into eights, cut the biscuit and scatter over the chicken. Sprinkle the bacon (chopped in small pieces) on top, then sprinkle with the Ranch seasoning.
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
